Common LVP questions
How long does LVP installation take?
Most LVP installations take 1–2 days, depending on the size of the area. Click-lock systems go in faster than traditional flooring.
Is LVP really waterproof?
Yes. Quality LVP has a 100% waterproof core that won't swell, warp or be damaged by moisture, which makes it a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms.
Can LVP be installed over existing flooring?
Often, yes. LVP can usually go over existing hard surfaces like tile, hardwood or vinyl, which saves time and the cost of removal. We'll confirm during your estimate.
What's the difference between click-lock and glue-down LVP?
Click-lock LVP floats over the subfloor and can be removed if needed. Glue-down LVP is permanently adhered, giving a more solid feel underfoot.
