Common installation questions
How long does a typical installation take?
It depends on the size of the project and the type of flooring. Most residential rooms (200–400 sq ft) take 1–2 days, while larger or more complex layouts can take 3–5 days. We'll give you an accurate timeline during your free estimate and work efficiently to keep disruption to a minimum.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. Estimates and consultations are free and there's no obligation. We'll visit, assess your space, talk through your preferences, take precise measurements and give you a detailed written estimate, with no pressure and no hidden fees.
What do I need to do before installation?
We handle most of the preparation, including moving furniture, removing old flooring and preparing the subfloor. We just ask that you clear away personal items and make sure we can get to the work area. You'll get a preparation checklist during your consultation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Great Britain Tile is fully licensed and insured for your protection and peace of mind.
What warranty do you provide on installation work?
Our craftsmanship is guaranteed for one full year, and we work with manufacturers so you receive full product warranties as well. If an installation-related issue comes up, we'll come back promptly and make it right at no charge.
