Family-owned and operated since 1985, Great Britain Tile has been transforming Tampa Bay homes and businesses with exceptional tile and flooring installations for nearly four decades.

Based in Land O' Lakes, Florida, we've proudly served the Tampa Bay area since 1985 with expert flooring and tile solutions.

Founded by George Clamp, a British-trained tile setter (and now a 25-year Land O Lakes resident), our family business has grown into a cornerstone of the local community with over four decades of experience.

Four Decades of Excellence

1970s

George's Tile Journey Begins

George Clamp starts working in the tile business at age 15 in England, developing expert craftsmanship that would later define our company.

1985

Great Britain Tile Founded

George establishes Great Britain Tile, opening the first office and showroom in Tampa Bay's Town n' Country area, bringing English tile expertise to Florida.

1990s

Family Business Grows

George's sons join the business, making it a true family operation. Expanded into a bigger location on Gunn Highway to serve more customers.

2003

Land O' Lakes Expansion

Opened our current showroom at 9533 Land O' Lakes Blvd, bringing our expertise directly to the heart of the community we serve.

2000s

Major Commercial Contracts

Secured major contracts with Lennar Homes, Morrison Homes, and other commercial accounts, establishing our reputation in large-scale projects.
