Great Britain Tile offers the country’s largest selection of Handcrafted Cement Tile.

Encaustic Cement Tile is a classic, colorful, and durable covering for floors and walls. This type of tile is called Encaustic Cement Tile or Cuban tile in the States and various forms of Hydraulic Tile or Mosaicos Hidraulicos in other parts of the world.

These tiles are handmade using metal molds and various layers of pressed cement. The are extremely durable, available in many colors and provide a fascinating look for any room. Now this ancient form of mosaic floor tile is available in patterns and colors to coordinate with any decor.

The tradition of Encaustic Cement Tiles is to create interlocking designs by making a group of 4 tiles by rotating every tile by 90 degrees in each quadrant to form one design unit. When laid side by side, these 4 tile squares also form an interlocking pattern.

Field tiles are often surrounded by coordinating border tiles to create a rug like design on the floor of solid color tiles… Solid color tiles are available in all colors you see in the patterned tiles.

Lilywork mosaic murals are handmade in the USA. Inspired by Victorian Era decorative arts, the Tapestry Collection adds soft elements to beautiful mosaic murals.

Surfaces within Tapestries are not possible with mechanical decorative techniques. Each original design was drawn by hand and translated into a plaster mold. From the mold, each element is then hand-cut and hand-glazed making each mosaic one of a kind.

The creative interlocking of graceful, textured shapes make these ceramic Tapestries exquisite for backsplash, entryway wall, pool liner, or fountain niche.

Installing a Lilywork Tapestry is installing an original art piece. Field tiles ranging from 1″ to 6″ and subway tiles are available to coordinate. These murals are also available mounted and framed to hang on the wall.

1. Thorough grout cleaning. Grout is a porous substance that is subject to staining by dirty mop water, spillage and other contaminants. Our system of cleaning and sealing protects the grout from staining. Sealing reduces the labor of cleaning and maintaining the grout.

2.Sealing the grout and staining with an epoxy sealer. We use a color-pigmented water born epoxy grout sealant chemically engineered to penetrate and form a high-strength bond to non-sanded, sanded, and epoxy tile grout that will last for years. Our color palette is available in 44 standard color choices. We also have the means to color match all of the industry leading grout manufacturers color offerings. These manufacturers include Custom Building Products, Laticrete, TEC, Bonsal, Mapei. The sealant has been tested and approved by the Ceramic Tile Institute of America.

We can also provide interior and exterior anti-slip applications.
