Teak is a precious tropical hardwood found in Asian Rainforests. Prized by ship builders for centuries, teak offers warm hues and a compact, non-splintering grain.

Although the world supply of true old-growth teak has dwindled, we have identified this source of reclaimed teak from decommissioned boats in China. Our mosaics are made from this authentic wood that is more than a century old and bears the character of decades of use in coastal fishing vessels.
