Are you located in the USA?

Yes. Although the business carries the Great Britain Tile name, we are located in Central Florida and have been doing business since 1986.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, personal checks and money orders.  Personal checks may delay shipping time.  Material will not be shipped until funds have been secured by Great Britain Tile, Inc.

Do I need to register or become a member to order?

No.  Unlike other online flooring retailers there is no club to join, or membership required, to get special or rebated pricing. All prices are as listed on the site and purchasing is hassle free.

Is your material first quality?

Yes.  All of our material is first quality direct from the manufacturer.  All of our products are sold with a manufacturers’ warranty, unless stated otherwise in the product description.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Many items ship same or next day from our warehouse or direct from the manufacturer (Materials ordered from Daltile typically ship in 5-7 days, please call for estimated ship date). Shipping transit time is typically 3-10 days from the time the order leaves our or our suppliers warehouses (some items ship direct to save time and may arrive sooner).  This can vary by order or time of year, so please contact us with any questions.

I need my material fast. Can I rush my shipment?

Yes. We offer rush or overnight shipping options. Please call us and we can give you a rate quote. All orders processed online are shipped ground.

Is there a minimum shipping charge?

No.  Unlike other online flooring retailers (some have $99 minimum charges) there is no minimum shipping charge. All items are shipped based on weight. For example, if you want 1 sheet of glass mosaic or 2 metal decos, you will only be charged the actual shipping costs of those items.

I am looking for an item or product line that I don't see in your online store. Do you have it?

We can get most items available in the market, many times at a great price due to our purchasing volume. Even after shipping is factored in, we may be able to help. Give us a chance to price your product or job.

Why does an item say "Call for pricing"?

Some manufacturers do not allow pricing to be shown online. Please call us to obtain the best pricing possible.

What is your warranty?

All of our products are sold with a manufacturers’ warranty, unless stated otherwise in the product description.

Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?

Our standard freight rates apply to the 48 contiguous states.  For Hawaii, Alaska or shipments to other countries, please call us at (813) 235-9775 to arrange a custom freight quote.

When should I schedule my installation?

It is recommended that you wait for all of your material to arrive.  Although we try to keep backorders and damage to a minimum, this is a remote possibility.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, but not all material is returnable.  Please refer to the shipping and returns policies.

What is the best way to avoid returns or shortages of material?

Proper measuring is the key to minimizing waste and overage.  Having an installation professional, measuring company or using available online calculators will help in assisting with proper measurements.

How much extra material for cuts and waste should I include with my order?

Industry standards are typically between 5-10%, but can vary due to many factors.  Please check with your installer.

Should I expect shade variations in a product?

Yes.  Shade variations are part of the inherent beauty of ceramic tile, porcelain tile, glass tile, natural stone and wood flooring.  Great Britain Tile, Inc. does not warranty against shade variations.  Any signed for material is considered accepted by the customer.

Do all materials look like the sample pictures on your site?

It is recommended that all materials are examined in person before ordering. Although best effort is made to ensure images are as close as possible to the actual product, variations in shade, color or appearance is possible. Monitor settings can also play a role in the representation of a picture. If you are still unsure, contact us or your local showroom for samples. Great Britain Tile is not responsible for the appearance or differences of samples provided by manufacturers or local suppliers/showrooms.

Does the freight company unload my delivery?

No.  All deliveries are curbside and you will be expected to unload and bring the material into your building.  For special needs such as a lift gate or handicapped assistance, contact us for quotes or information. Please see the shipping and return policies.
